DCVC is a Silicon Valley venture capital firm that focuses on climate technology. DCVC supports entrepreneurs using Deep Tech to solve issues and multiply the benefits of capitalism for everyone while reducing its cost.
DCVC was co-founded by Zachary Bogue in 2011 and since then, he and his co-founder Matt Ocko have invested in several companies.
Presently, Data Collective (DCVC), is close to investing in a little-known Singaporean water startup stating they are looking very seriously at this water company.
Zachary Bogue, the Managing Partner said Data Collective (DCVC), was attracted to the company’s novel technology to produce water out of the air but he had declined to name the local upstart because the deal has yet to be finalized.
Bogue is especially excited about climate tech investing and as such DCVC has co-invested with Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings in climate tech startups including Pivot Bio, a Berkeley, California-based firm that deploys microbes that capture nitrogen in the air to nourish crops, an alternative to traditional fertilizers.
DCVC has also invested in Samsara Eco, an Australian startup that formulated enzymes to break down plastics into their foundational building blocks so they can be reconstituted into new items.
DCVC, the Silicon Valley venture capital firm with US$3 billion under management, is currently raising its 13th, climate-specific fund, and is directed at a Singaporean water startup.
